Why do I need over 70s travel insurance?

Travel insurance can cover you for things outside of your control, like unexpected medical bills, holiday cancellations or lost luggage.

Cruise Plus CoverAdd cover to your Comprehensive or Signature policy. Off on a cruise? This covers extras like not being able to dock at a scheduled port due to bad weather and cabin confinement.
Excess WaiverCover included on a Signature policy - Add cover to your Comprehensive policy Add Excess Waiver to your policy and there’s no excess to pay for any claims you make. This can’t be added retrospectively and does not apply to Gadget cover or Car Hire Excess Waiver.
Gadget CoversCover included on a Signature policy - Add cover to your Comprehensive policy Protect your gadgets (phones, tablets, cameras, e-readers, etc.) for up to £2,000 per person when you’re on holiday. Cover against accidental loss, damage, theft, and unauthorised usage.
Travel Disruption CoverAdd cover to any policy Additional cover for cancelling or cutting your trip short if the FCDO advises against all or all but essential travel to your destination due to an unforeseen event such as earthquake, fire, flood, or hurricane.
